Hospitality

The purpose of the Hospitality Ministry of Lampasas First United Methodist Church is to welcome new people into the church and help them to get connected with fellow members to grow together in Christ.  By welcoming new people into our community of faith, we can work together to grow in our knowledge and faith of Jesus Christ.

Greeters Team:
Our Greeters team is comprised of all ages men, women, and children are welcome to be part of this fun ministry that allows folks to get to know each other and feel welcomed into worship. 

Visitor Table:
Our Visitor's tables are located outside both worship areas. They have some information for first-time visitors along with a thermos cup gift. We should have at least one person next to the table every Sunday Morning to welcome first-time visitors, let them know where the restrooms are, and provide other information to help them feel welcome and comfortable. 

Connect Dinners
Connect dinners are small gatherings of 12-15 people held at various times throughout the year. It is a fun and easy way to give new guests an opportunity to connect with others from the Church, learn about us and see where they may plug in.

Bread / Cookie Ministry:
Our Bread / Cookie ministry helps us follow up with first-time visitors, let them know more about us, and extend an invitation to meet with the pastor.
