Out-reach
The purpose of the Outreach Ministry of Lampasas First United Methodist Church is to go out and Invite people to come together for Christ. By inviting new people to join our community of faith in worship and fellowship, we hope to help them grow in their personal relationship with God through His son Jesus Christ.
Fall Festival:
This is an annual Splash Outreach Event that involves games, prizes, bouncy houses, food, vendors and lots of fun. The purpose of our fall festival is to welcome and engage with people in our community.
Trunk Or Treat:
This is an annual Splash Out-reach Event that involves members of our congregation reaching out to families in our community on Halloween in a safe and fun way. Volunteers dress up decorate their cars and pass out candy to children in our community.
Church Has Left The building:
This is a special Sunday when multiple teams go out from the church to do various out-reach projects, like visiting the nursing home, knocking on doors to pray, and other fun ways to show people we are the hands and feet of Christ.
C.A.P.S. (Children's Afterschool Program):
This after school ministry reaches children in our community for Christ. This program involves, worship, Crafts, games, food and a bible lesson. There are many ways to volunteer and help serve in this ministry.
